Hastings Castle can be found approximately 180 meters to the west and the St Clements and Smugglers Caves are to the east. The house is located on an enviable beauty spot that is picture perfect, nearby is the East Hill Lift, a funicular railway that gives easy access to the Old Town in the summer months.
The building dates from 1890 and is the old rectory of St Mary’s Star of the Sea church
in the Old Town. It is an imposing Victorian building that has been sympathetically renovated retaining many original features and blends comfortably the old and new, creating an atmosphere which is relaxed and informal with wonderful views from the surprisingly airy rooms.

All the apartments are one bedroom (all of which have recently had new, luxury mattresses and beds),
with extra sleeping arrangements in the sitting rooms and in some of the dining rooms.
They all sleep 2/4 people. The apartments are fully furnished, self-catering units.
They all have baths with showers and a fully equipped kitchen. There are washer/dryers available on two floors, for the use of the guests. There is constant hot water and central heating is available all year round.

Dogs welcome in the ground floor flat, as there is a small garden, and we are in a prime location for lots of lovely walks right on our doorstep, the house is also surrounded by large tracts of grass, stretching down to the Old Town. We will be there to welcome you on arrival, show you the flat and answer any questions you might have. We do not live on site, but are at the end of the phone and are happy to help you at any time.
